SAINT NICHOLAS - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Saint Nicholas sits upright on the seabed, a small fishing vessel that went down in 1979 while being towed. It’s a pretty compact wreck, only 10.7m long, so you won’t need endless bottom time to take it all in. We often find the smaller wrecks around here become fantastic little refuges for local critters; expect to see plenty of wrasse darting around the superstructure and maybe a curious crab peering from a dark corner. It’s a good one for those who appreciate the history of the working boats that plied these waters.
