SARA - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The SARA, a motor vessel that went down after striking Hendon Rock in 1902, sits at a very manageable 11 metres. This means plenty of bottom time, which we appreciate when there's a wreck to explore. While she's classified as "dangerous," in diver terms that just means plenty of broken-up structure to poke around, with lots of nooks for crabs and small fish to hide. You’ll find the wreck spread across the seabed, a skeletal frame now home to various critters, making for a relaxed dive that’s good for shaking off the rust or just enjoying a bit of history.
