SKULDA - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Skulda lies just east of the Forth Bridge, a steamship that met its end in 1906 after a collision. She’s not the most intact wreck you’ll ever dive, having been declared dangerous and presumably salvaged over the years, but there’s still plenty of character in her scattered remains at 20 metres. We often find the bow and stern sections the most identifiable, with plating and ribs providing shelter for crabs and inquisitive little blennies. Visibility here can be a bit variable, so pick a calm day, and you’ll get a decent dive on a wreck with a real sense of history.
