SPRAY - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The *Spray* lies deep, 46 metres down off the Tyne Pier, a merchant vessel sunk by a mine back in 1917. She’s largely intact for her age, offering decent penetration opportunities for properly trained wreck divers, especially around the holds and engine room. We often find conger eels tucked into the dark recesses, and the decks are home to plenty of wrasse and squat lobsters. It's a proper British wreck dive: dim light, often chilly, but rewarding for those who appreciate maritime history and the creatures that have made it their home.
