ST CLEMENT (POSSIBLY) - Scottish East Coast & Borders

Dropping onto the St Clement feels like stepping back into a moment in time, frozen at 58 metres. This isn't a wreck you'll be swimming through easily; it’s largely intact, lying upright, but decades of fishing nets drape the structure like ghostly shrouds. We’ve found the bow section particularly evocative, a poignant reminder of its wartime fate, though the stern also offers some fascinating nooks and crannies to peer into. For those comfortable with deeper technical dives and keen on historical exploration, it's a sobering but rewarding experience, especially when the resident cod and ling glide past, unbothered by the silent history surrounding them.
