STRINHEIM - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Strinheim is a good deep dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts. Sunk by a mine in 1939, this steamship lies at 46m, often making for a dark, atmospheric descent. We usually find decent visibility down here, letting you appreciate the vessel's single boiler, triple expansion engine, and solitary iron propeller. The wreck has become a solid habitat for conger eels and squat lobsters, tucked into every crevice, creating a solemn, interesting dive. It’s a good one to tick off if you're in the area and fancy a proper plunge.
