TATIANA - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Tatiana, a trawler sunk by a U-boat in 1916, rests at 46 metres, making it a dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts. It's a deep one, so prepare your gas and your dive plan accordingly. What you'll find down there is a surprisingly intact structure, softened by time and the encroaching sea life. We've seen conger eels poking out from behind plating, and often spot crabs scuttling across the deck. The visibility here can be a bit of a lottery, as you'd expect in the North Sea, but on a good day, the silhouette of the Tatiana emerging from the gloom is a powerful sight.
