THERMOPYLAE - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Thermopylae sits deep off the Scottish East Coast, a fishing vessel that met its end in a fiery incident back in '92. She's a good pick for technical divers, resting at 60 metres, so proper planning and gas management are essential. Even at that depth, the wreck maintains a surprising amount of character, still largely intact and allowing for exploration of her decks and superstructure. We've seen ling and conger eels making homes in her darker corners, and always a healthy showing of squat lobsters in the nooks and crannies. It's a sombre but rewarding dive for those comfortable in the deep.
