Wreck of Fishers - Scottish East Coast & Borders

Diving a Scottish wreck is always an adventure, and the **Wreck of Fishers** is a fine example of why we love them so much. Descending through the often murky green, you start to make out the dark shape of the hull, usually around 20-25 metres. It’s a proper dive for those who appreciate history and the atmosphere of a cold water wreck. The wreck itself is quite broken up in places, but you can still pick out key features: the stern section, some of the engine room components, and scattered debris that hint at its past. We’ve found wolf fish tucked into crevices here, their beady eyes watching you from the shadows, and often see ling patrolling the deeper sections. Our pick for a good dive is when the visibility pushes past 5 metres; it really transforms the wreck from a vague outline to something you can properly explore, poking around the ribs and plating for crabs and conger eels. It's a site that rewards patience and a good torch.
