Wreck of Hannah And Success - Scottish East Coast & Borders

Diving the *Hannah And Success* is a proper adventure, the kind that makes you feel like a real wreck explorer. This isn't some perfectly intact museum piece, but a scattering of history across the seabed, all tumbled and broken, which is exactly why we love it. You descend into that green Scottish water, and suddenly you’re amongst big boilers, engine parts, and twisted plates, all draped in anemones and dead man's fingers. It’s wonderfully atmospheric. We’ve found conger eels tucked into the tightest spots, and sometimes you’ll catch a glimpse of a big ling or pollack cruising the edges of the debris field. The sheer scale of the wreckage is impressive, reminding you of the forces at play when she went down. For us, our favourite moments are poking around the sections where the light filters through the kelp, illuminating a patch of wreckage, turning it almost ethereal. It's a site that rewards patient exploration, perfect for divers who appreciate the story and the life that takes hold when man-made structures return to the sea. Just be prepared for typical UK visibility, and you’ll have a grand time.
