Wreck of Jenny And Matty - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Jenny And Matty, for us, is one of those wrecks that just keeps giving. Dropping down onto her, she immediately feels substantial, a proper piece of history resting on the seabed. We love how the strong Scottish currents, which can be a bit of a workout getting down, have sculpted the metal over the years. You'll find yourself drifting past huge plates of rusted hull, with the occasional swim-through inviting you into the darker, quieter parts of her interior. Keep an eye out for the resident wolfish; we've often seen them peeking out from behind a torn bulkhead, their flat, grumpy faces a familiar sight. The anenomes here are also spectacular, clinging in thick carpets, their tentacles swaying gently in the surge. It's a site that rewards multiple dives. Each visit reveals a new detail, a different angle of light catching a particularly interesting piece of machinery now encrusted with sponges. This isn't a dive for the faint of heart or those new to wrecks, but if you're comfortable with a bit of current and enjoy exploring a genuine piece of maritime heritage, Jenny And Matty won't disappoint.
