Wreck of Lily Of The Valley - Scottish East Coast & Borders

Diving the *Lily of the Valley* is less about vibrant coral and more about a gritty, historical adventure. What we love about this wreck is its sheer sense of history, how the sea has slowly reclaimed it. You're dropping onto a piece of the past, often in conditions that remind you you're diving Scotland, not the Caribbean. The wreck itself, though broken, still offers plenty to explore, with sections of hull creating shadows and overhangs. Keep an eye out for the resident wrasse and crabs scuttling amongst the metal; they’ve made this wreck their home, providing splashes of colour against the rusted steel. It's a dive that rewards patience and a good torch, perfect for divers who appreciate the story behind the metal and aren't afraid of a bit of chill. We’d suggest going in late summer for the best chance of decent visibility, though even then, expect a proper Scottish dive – moody, atmospheric, and utterly rewarding for those who seek out character over clarity.
