Wreck of Temple - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The wreck of the Temple is a proper adventure, a real taste of North Sea diving. Dropping onto her, you’re often greeted by a surprising amount of light filtering through the green water, illuminating sections of the hull. We love the way she sits upright, still very much a ship, not just a pile of scrap, which makes for some fantastic penetration if you're qualified and the conditions are right. You’ll find squat lobsters tucked into every nook and cranny, and decent-sized cod and pollock patrolling the deeper sections. Our favourite part has to be the stern, where the prop shaft is still visible, a testament to her working life. It's a dive that rewards patience and a good torch, perfect for those who appreciate history and the rugged beauty of a cold-water wreck.
