Wreck of Two Sisters - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Wreck of Two Sisters isn't about tropical colours. This is cold-water wreck diving at its most atmospheric. We love how the silty Scottish seabed holds the secrets of this historical vessel, often shrouded in that classic North Sea gloom. Dropping onto the deck, you feel the chill, but your eyes quickly adjust to pick out the skeletal ribs of the hull and the ghostly outline of where the superstructure once stood. It's a dive that rewards slow exploration, letting your torch beam cut through the particulate to reveal details. You’ll find squat lobsters tucked into crevices and often see schools of coalfish swirling around the more intact sections. Our favourite part is navigating the cargo holds, imagining the ship's final moments. It's a dive for those who appreciate history, the quiet drama of a wreck, and don't mind a bit of a chill for a genuinely rewarding experience. We’d suggest picking a slack tide for the easiest conditions; the currents here can be a bit feisty otherwise.
