Wreck of Unnamed Shipwreck - Canmore 102140 - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Unnamed Shipwreck, Canmore 102140, off Scotland’s East Coast, is a proper adventure. We reckon it’s one of those sites that truly rewards repeat visits. There's just enough mystery here to keep you coming back. The wreck itself is a jumble of metal, broken up over decades, and that’s precisely its charm. You’ll weave through ribs of corroded steel, where the light filters down, creating these really moody shafts. It’s perfect for divers who love getting up close and personal with history, exploring every nook. Visibility can be a bit variable, as you'd expect in these waters, but on a good day, it's brilliant. We’ve found that slack tide is your best bet for really soaking it all in without battling a current. The marine life here isn't about huge pelagics, but the smaller stuff is fantastic. Think plump lobsters peeking out from under plating, cheeky velvet crabs scuttling over the debris, and sometimes, a gurnard or two nosing around. It’s a proper cold-water wreck dive – atmospheric, a bit challenging, and utterly compelling. If you enjoy solving maritime puzzles, this one's a winner.
