Wreck of Unnamed Shipwreck - Canmore 195825 - Scottish East Coast & Borders

This unnamed wreck off the Scottish East Coast is a decent dive if you’re in the area and looking for something with a bit of history. We’ve found it’s usually pretty silty, so good buoyancy is key if you want to actually see the structure rather than just a cloud of particulate. The remains are spread out, mostly ribs and hull plates, with some sections still holding enough shape to offer cover for wrasse and small crabs. It’s not a huge wreck, so you can do a thorough exploration in one dive, poking around for the resident ling that sometimes shelter in the deeper crevices. We’d suggest going at slack tide to avoid fighting any surge, which can really cut down on visibility here.
