Wreck of Unnamed Shipwreck - Canmore 96695 - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The Canmore 96695 wreck, what we affectionately call the "Unnamed Shipwreck" because its true identity is still a mystery, is pure Scottish wreck diving. You won't find warm, tropical waters here, but you will find atmosphere. Dropping onto it, the visibility often has that green tint you expect from the North Sea, but it adds to the drama. We love how the metal structure has become a home; you’ll spot plumose anemones carpeting the deeper sections and often see wrasse darting in and out of the plating. It's not a massive wreck, so you can really take your time exploring the different sections, peering into darker crevices for conger eels. We’d suggest keeping an eye on the current here; it can pick up, so timing your dive with slack water is key for a more relaxed exploration. This wreck suits divers who appreciate history and the rugged beauty of cold-water diving, not those looking for colourful coral.
