    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Drop Zone lives up to its name, plunging from a sandy ledge into deeper waters, making for some excellent wall diving. We’ve found the vertical face here often holds shy creatures, especially nudibranchs and small crabs tucked into crevices, so bring your macro lens. The visibility can be a bit variable, typical for the Cape, but on a good day, the sheer drop is impressive, giving you that 'flying along a cliff face' feeling. It’s a site for those comfortable with deeper profiles and managing their buoyancy, as you’ll want to hover and really soak in the wall.

    Safety Notes

Cold water this month (avg 15°C). Drysuit or thick wetsuit (7mm+) recommended.
