    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Three Anchor Bay is a reliable shore dive, great for knocking the rust off your skills or for some casual critter hunting. It’s mostly sand and kelp, but look closely and you’ll find plenty of nudibranchs, small octopus, and pipefish tucked away. The site is sheltered from the prevailing southerly wind, making it a good choice when other spots are blown out, though visibility can drop after heavy rain. It’s perfect for a relaxed dive when you want to stay close to the city.

    Safety Notes

Cold water this month (avg 15°C). Drysuit or thick wetsuit (7mm+) recommended.
