Cueva de Radazul - Canary Islands

Cueva de Radazul is a solid intermediate cave dive, a good step up if you’re comfortable with overhead environments but not looking for anything too extreme. We like heading down there when the currents are mellow, usually in the mornings before the boat traffic picks up. The entrance opens wide at around 20 metres, dropping to a maximum depth of 35 metres inside. Light plays nicely through the opening, illuminating the rock formations and, if you're lucky, some resident shrimp tucked into the crevices. It’s a site for divers who appreciate the geology as much as the potential for encountering a passing ray outside the cave mouth.
