Kleines Muränenriff - Canary Islands

Kleines Muränenriff, or "Little Moray Reef," is a spot we always enjoy for a relaxed dive in the Canaries. It's not a deep dive, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for an easy second tank. We often find several moray eels here, tucked into crevices, alongside cardinal fish hovering in the shadows. Look for common cuttlefish, especially in the sand patches, and we've spotted marbled electric rays resting on the bottom a few times. It's a solid, unhurried dive that reliably delivers a good showing of local Canarian reef residents.
