Puerto del Carmen (east) - Canary Islands

Diving Puerto del Carmen’s eastern sites means easy shore entries and a relaxed pace, perfect for getting back into the swing of things or for newer divers. We’ve found the sandy bottom and scattered rock formations here are a great spot to look for Atlantic stargazers peeking out, or the occasional juvenile dusky grouper tucked into a crevice. Keep an eye out for schools of salema and bogue shimmering past. While you might not see a loggerhead turtle every dive, the general vibe is laid-back and pleasant, a solid choice for a casual afternoon underwater.
