Ray Bank, Gran Canaria - Canary Islands

Ray Bank, off Gran Canaria, is a solid choice for a second dive of the day, or when you’re looking for something a little less demanding. It’s a sandy bottom at 20 meters, pretty flat, but that’s exactly what attracts the rays. We’ve had good luck here spotting common eagle rays gliding over the sand, sometimes a few at once, and always the chance of a common stingray settled in. It’s an intermediate dive, mainly due to potential boat traffic and the slight chance of a gentle drift, but otherwise very relaxed. If you like watching rays do their thing without too much fuss, this spot is worth your time.
