ROGER DE ILURIA - Canary Islands

The *Roger de Iluria* sits in a shallow bay, making it one of the more accessible wrecks in the Canaries. Dropping to a maximum of 10 metres, this 91-metre steamship is well broken up, but you can still trace the hull's outline and poke around some of the larger, more intact sections. We’ve found plenty of octopus tucked into crevices here, along with barracuda patrolling overhead, so keep an eye out. It's an easy dive, good for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive. Watch for the odd fishing line, it’s a popular spot.
