Roncadores del Palmar - Canary Islands

Roncadores del Palmar is a solid choice when you're diving the Canaries, especially if you're just starting out or fancy a relaxed dive. Dropping to a gentle 21 metres, it's a calm spot where we've often seen schools of grunt (roncadores, hence the name) hanging out around the rocky formations. It’s pretty typical of the volcanic reef structures you find here, with plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into for octopus or a moray eel. We think it's a perfect intro to Canarian diving.
