SUN WARM VI - Canary Islands

The Sun Warm VI, a fishing vessel intentionally sunk in 2005, sits upright at 30 metres off the Canary Islands. It’s a good little dive for wreck enthusiasts looking for something beyond natural reefs. We found plenty of scorpionfish tucked into the deck plates and around the wheelhouse, and schools of barracuda often circle above the mast. There’s some limited penetration for experienced divers, but most of the joy here comes from exploring the exterior and watching how marine life has made it home. Expect a relaxed dive, usually with good visibility, making it a solid pick for a second dive of the day.
