RIVER GARRY - Scottish East Coast & Borders

The *River Garry* sits in about 20 metres of water, a steamship that went down with a cargo of coal back in 1893. What you’ll find now is a decent spread of metalwork, largely broken up but still very much a wreck. We’ve seen conger eels tucked into the boiler, and sometimes the shoals of coalfish are thick around the structure. It’s a good poke around for divers keen on history and the resident crustaceans, especially if you’re comfortable with a bit of ambient light diving.
