Blousteen Ridge - Cape Town & Western Cape
Blousteen Ridge sits a little off the Cape Peninsula, a rocky finger running parallel to the coast. We often find ourselves dropping in near the gap in the ridge, which is just deep enough to swim through, a neat shortcut to the deeper sections. On the seaward side, the bottom is a mix of sandstone reef and scattered boulders. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive when the swells are playing nice, often revealing shy reef fish darting between the rocks. We wouldn't call it an adrenaline rush, but it's a solid choice for a quiet exploration, particularly for divers who appreciate the subtler beauty of a robust temperate reef.
