Duiker Island - Cape Town & Western Cape

Jamie’s Jungle sits about a 20-minute boat ride east of Papatura. It’s a classic bommie dive, starting shallow at five meters and dropping down to around 27 meters. We’ve found the current can be a bit of a mixed bag here; sometimes it’s ripping on one side of the pinnacle, then practically dead calm on the other. It's a fun site for exploring, with lots of small swim-throughs and inlets to poke around in. Keep an eye out for reef sharks hanging out deeper, and the fish life really picks up from 20 meters upwards. Just be mindful of the swell if the winds are up.
