Buceo Sub - Canary Islands

The team at Buceo Sub are our kind of people – professional, but with that laid-back Canary Islands vibe that instantly puts you at ease. We’ve always appreciated their flexibility, especially when our flight got delayed and they still managed to fit us in for a refresher. They really shine with their guided dives, knowing every nook and cranny of La Palma’s volcanic topography. We love them for divers who want to explore beyond the usual suspects. While they do all the PADI courses, from try dives to instructor level, it’s their local knowledge that makes them a standout. We’d suggest chatting with them about the lesser-known sites; we found some incredible swim-throughs filled with schooling barracuda thanks to their advice. Definitely ask about their early morning trips; we once had a dive where the light filtering through the caves felt almost otherworldly, and we spotted an elusive angel shark resting in the sand. It’s a good choice for those who value genuine local insight over big-boat operations.
