Dive Community - Canary Islands
The team at Dive Community are straight shooters, and that’s why we like them so much. Located in La Palma, they’re not about flashy marketing, but about solid diving and genuinely good people. We’ve had some of our most relaxed dives with their guides, who know the local sites like the back of their hand. What we really appreciate about Dive Community is their focus on the island’s unique volcanic topography. Think lava tubes, arches, and dramatic drop-offs that feel a world away from typical Caribbean reefs. We’d suggest asking for a morning dive at El Puertito, where the sunlight streams through the cracks in the rock formations, illuminating schools of barracuda. Visibility here is usually excellent, around 25-30 metres, and the water temperature hovers around 20-24°C, making for comfortable dives even in a 5mm suit. They’re PADI certified, so whether you’re looking to get your Open Water or just want to explore, they’ve got you covered. Plus, the vibe is super friendly. You’ll probably end up sharing a beer with them after the last dive of the day.
