Punkfish Diving School - Canary Islands

The team at Punkfish Diving School are a breath of fresh air on La Palma. We first met them after a string of generic dive shops, and immediately appreciated their commitment to smaller groups and personalised attention. This isn't a factory operation; they genuinely focus on individual progress, which is a huge plus, especially for those looking to advance beyond recreational limits. Their specialisation in technical and extended range courses really sets them apart. While they do the usual Open Water and Advanced, it's their dedication to sidemount, decompression procedures, and even instructor-level tech training that caught our eye. If you're someone who dreams of deeper wrecks or just wants to understand gas planning better, these are your people. We found their instructors patient and incredibly knowledgeable, always keen to share a trick or two for improving trim or finning technique. For divers aiming to push their boundaries safely and competently, Punkfish offers a depth of expertise that’s hard to find.
